Photography Workshops

Where: Verbier
What: The Milky Way
When: TBC

(Min 4 persons / Max 6 persons)

The Milky Way Galaxy is a spiral system consisting of several hundred billion stars, gas and dust bound together by gravity. All of the stars that we see in the night sky are in our own Milky Way Galaxy. It is called the Milky Way because it appears as a milky band of light in the sky when you see it in a really dark area.

From our vantage point on Earth, we see it as a noticeable band of light stretching across the night sky and is one of the most spectacular subjects to photograph at night. From our latitude in the northern hemisphere, the Milky Way core is only observable between the months of April to September. We are fortunate to be able to get away from light pollution in the mountains to see it from the most spectacular environment.
