Photography Workshops

Where: Cabane Mont Fort, Verbier
What: Perseids Meteor Shower
When: Mid August (Weather Dependent)

Each year the Perseids Meteor Shower graces our skies between July 17th and August 24th, with it’s peak being August 9th-13th. It is one of the brightest meteor showers and one I have found the most fun to photograph. Named after the constellation Perseus, it is made up of tiny space debris from the Comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle. At it’s peak one can see 60 to 100 meteors in an hour if in a dark place away from light pollution.

Cabane Mont Fort
The Cabane Mont Fort is a mountain refuge nestled high up in the mountains above Verbier. It has the most spectacular panorama of the Swiss and French Alps and is a very practical, comfortable and beautiful base for evening.

What’s included
