WINTER SPORTS
Photography Workshops

Where: Verbier
When: TBC

(Min 4 persons / Max 6 persons or Private)

Have you ever taken what you think is an incredible photo when you are out skiing or snowboarding and then been disappointed when you return home and view it on your computer screen. Have you ever wandered how photographers in the mountains manage to take such amazing photos of which you never quite manage to capture. Well there are many simple tricks and even safely on the piste or just off the piste you can use these tricks to make it look like you are on a steep face in the backs of beyond. I am happy to be able to share some of these tricks with you and help you return home with some magazine front cover shots.

Camera Equipment Required:
DSLR Camera
Zoom lens
Wide angle lens

Other equipment:
Obviously it is important to have warm clothing as we will be spending a lot of time standing still in the cold outdoors. Waterproof clothing is vital as we will sometimes have to sit in snow to get low. Our gloves will often touch the ground, so they need to stay dry. I recommend bringing a second pair of gloves. Sunglasses/goggles are a must to protect your eyes.

Ski/Snowboard Level:
For the beginner winter sports workshops, your level does not need to be high, but you do have to be able to comfortably get yourself around the mountain. For more advanced private workshops, a mountain guide will also be required, along with avalanche mountain safety equipment (tranceiver, shovel, probe) so that we cover all safety precautions. We will access safe areas under the guidance of the mountain guide.
