Moonrise and moonset are great times for spectacular Moon photos, especially if the Moon is just above the horizon and mountains. It's also around the golden hour when the colours and contrast are at their best. The moon does not emit its own light but shines so bright because it is reflecting the sunlight. The full moon is the lunar phase when the moon appears fully illuminated from Earth's perspective when the Earth is located between the Sun and the Moon.

DSLR Camera capable of manual settings
Telephoto lens (longest lens you have)
Tripod
Shutter Release Cable
Head torch
